My Story

Currently I consider myself to be an educator and motivator and lifelong learner.  I am also a martial artist with a 2nd degree black belt, a former professional musician, a poet - writer and, student of people  I have a formal education in Education and Psychology as well as teaching certifications in comprehensive science and chemistry, and degrees in Nutrition and Biology.  I have gone to high school and college and graduate school.  I played in a music band for 8 years.  I’ve taught in public and private schools and I’ve run my own consulting business for nearly twenty years now. However, like most people, I think I’ve learned the most being out in the world and getting involved and interacting with other people.  This is the real ‘education’.

So, what have I learned?

Well, for starters.  You have to understand relationships to be able to work with, and help people.   Relationships are built on many things, but undoubtably two things: trust and communication.  Here’s the thing… it takes time to build trust and you have to make an effort to have ‘quality’ bilateral communication.

I created this blog, at least in part, to provide tools for myself and for my subscribers, to improve communication and thereby improve trust in your relationships which in turn makes just about everything work out better.

Sound simple enough?

Thank You Jan. From the small sampling of your cooking that I was lucky to have, I can conclude you know your way around the kitchen. However, I think you also are very adept in the business arena and I know I can learn some things from you as well. Stay focused on your goals, and stay positive and I looked forward to working together with you in the future as well. Best Wishes.
